All I can say is, finally. I have been waiting for this movie forever. It was worth the wait!
In the movie, we are brought back to the beginning of the unlikely friendship between Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan. As with the best of relationships, there are a lot of learning curves.
As a grand parent, I appreciated the underlying tone that anything worth having is worth working for. I brought my 3 and 6 year old grand daughters for the kids' take on the movie. Hearing the giggles from my grand daughter during the library challenge was worth sitting in a theater of small children. There are some moments near the end where the timid child may be searching for a shoulder to hide her head in. It is, after all, a movie about monsters.
Overall, I enjoyed the movie as did my grand daughters. I give this movie 5 hearts.
